Breathwork is called Pranayama in yoga.
Your Breath is the bridge between your physical body and your subtle body. To put this another way, your breath is an incredible tool to manage your emotions and mind.
Pranayama is another word for breathwork; breathwork is about learning to be aware of your breath, have an awareness of your breath, and ultimately, have a relationship with your breath.
Your breath is your Prana, the life force gifted to you at birth, that first breath in you take.
How you experience your life is how you breathe.
Through breath techniques, you will learn in this class, very specific ones, you gather the tools to create change within yourself, for yourself, by yourself so that you can be yourself.
We will breathe with gentle movement, breath purely without, explore all the various breath tools for managing the mind and calming the CNS – learn breaths for sleep, for energy, for managing hormones.
Join me for a wonderful 60 minutes. It will give you space to listen to yourself. Light physical movements may be part of some meditations and breaths.
