DESCRIPTION:Sound Bath with Mike – 24th November 2023 6.30pm – 60 minutes\nBooking on our website – the timetable link here – choose 24th November 2023- read the cancellation policy below\nJoin us for this very special Sound Event with  Mike\nRelax\, restore and rebalance body and mind with a sound bath in the tranquil\, beautiful surroundings of Yoga Space Yorkshire. \nWe begin with the gently lulling\, nurturing sounds of the Himalayan singing bowls\, gradually building into the peaks\, troughs\, and more physical vibrations of the sun gong before the pure tones of the crystal bowls provide an emotionally expansive\, tranquil space. Finally\, percussion is used to encourage the listener back into a waking state. \nOur goal is to use the instruments in a very specific way to induce an altered state of consciousness\, space where profound relaxation is possible. \nResearch has shown that time spent in this ‘twilight’ state can improve our wellbeing in a number of ways\, including the dissolution or reduction of worrying thoughts and anxieties; reduced physical tension; reduced heart and breath rate\, and a sense of peace and tranquillity. \nSound Therapist: Mike \nNot suitable for anyone pregnant. Mike does not admit anyone late – the door is closed at 6.30pm prompt\, please be on your yoga mat between 6.15-6.25 ensuring you are comfortable before the session begins. \nBring a cushion for your head\, your personal eye pillow if you have one\,  and any extra comfort item – you will be lying down on the floor on a yoga mat for one hour – blanket and bolster provided. \nPrice £14 \nTo Book: Visit our studio website timetable page. \nYou cannot book for anyone else – one booking per name/email on the Gymcatch system to ensure everyone attending has signed the YSY Studio health and safety disclaimer. \nNo cancellations – for diary clashes or last-minute miss – a sound bath credit is given to anyone who cancels with Covid/flu or any infectious illness. \nPlease do not attend with any cough/cold symptoms as the windows and doors are closed to ensure Mike has the best sound quality for your experience.
