Spend an Autumn weekend in the Yorkshire Dales at historic Patrick Brompton Hall, surrounded by open countryside and fresh green fields.

You are invited to join a small group to share yoga, walking and group meditations alongside rlaxation time in the Dales during this beautiful Autumn season.

Early October in the Dales brings a riot of colour across the landscape. Leaves are turning and trees are sighing as they sway – aware that they must let go of their canopies in order to hibernate for winter. But trees trust. Their leaves will return, buds open next Spring when winter is over and birds fill the air with song.

Over the weekend you will move, breathe and rest within this landscape. Kundalini yoga awakens inner energy, fresh air fills the lungs, gong baths bring deep rest, and guided walks place you in direct contact with the land.

What to expect in the yoga sessions

Emma is an experienced senior yoga teacher with over ten years of leading yoga retreat weekends. Her approach is embodied, transformational, and accessible to ordinary bodies. Her philosophy is altogether simple: “We do what we can do on the mat and feel good about it.”

Each session includes yoga, breathwork, a gong relaxation, and a dharma teaching to deepen your understanding of the practice beyond physical postures. Classes are accompanied by music, sacred chants, and mellow tunes, creating a supportive and reflective atmosphere.

Emma invites you, with Laura and Lorna

Emma invites you to absolutely to experience yoga as more than something you do. Your mat becomes a space to connect with yourself, step out of your busy mind, and simply be.

Laura will offer group meditation sessions that compliment the yoga alongside her one-to-one sessions. Laura is an experienced spiritual healer and women’s group leader.

Lorna is an experienced Dales walking guide and we will also learn about the landscape and its history whilst we walk.

Claire invites you to eat with the season and in light (not strict) influences from Ayurvedic dietary principles.

Finally we will see this weekend as a time to regather and reflect on our year and accordingly prepare ourselves for the cocoon of winter.

Above all, this weekend is perfect for all body levels (except chair yoga level) – no prior yoga experience needed. Suitable for beginners and regular practitioners seeking a refreshing Autumn getaway.

Arrival and Departure
Arrival from 4pm Friday 9 October
Departure by 2pm Sunday 11 October

Example of the Weekend Rhythm – Provisional, adjustments may be made where necessary.
Friday
Arrival, opening circle, evening yoga, supper and gong meditation.
Saturday
Morning yoga, brunch, guided Dales walk with picnic, afternoon relaxation (pool, hot tub, cold plunge), supper and evening studio session.
Sunday
Morning yoga, breakfast, pilgrimage walk to the Sacred Stones for our closing circle, lunch and departure.
Group mediation/healing session swith Laura is included.

Accommodation 
Single and Shared rooms available

Single room £599.pp

Shared room £499.pp both these rooms use any house bathroom close by.

Private space – small en-suite cottage  in adjacent stable block £649.00

30% deposit secures your place, deposits are non-refundable.

Balances are due 6 weeks before 9th October (28th August 2026)

We advise you to invest in travel insurance so that you can cover any unexpected need to cancel. Deposits are therefore non-refundable and cancellations once the balance is due 6 weeks before the retreat start date will also be payable.

What your payment includes

All prices include accommodation, hotel standard sheets/bathroom towels included, bath robe, vegetarian meals (vegan options available), snacks, yoga sessions and guided walks.
Facilities include hot tub, cold plunge, indoor heated pool, and access to the grounds.

Not included: travel to the venue and personal insurance and any private sessions with Laura who sends out an information pack with the details of her special sessions.
