Studio Ananda – Emma will hold the sacred space in this studio for 60 minutes. Pranayama, short guided meditation, sometimes gong, and a period of silence.
Pranayama means breath. Prana is our breath, our life force, our energy. We improve our quality of life when we improve our quality (and relationship) to our breath.
Do not be afraid of meditation. We have what we need within us, and we work with what we have. The mind can be a bitch, (monkey mind) but you are not your thoughts. Let’s break the meditation myth, yes those shopping and do-to lists will burst into play, on a loop of repeat, this happens and this is normal.
With practice and self-compassion, you will come to make friends with meditation. It will give you space to listen to yourself.
