Y
oga, soul, heart and your breath; we can’t separate them. Your time on the yoga mat – between postures in Kundalini yoga, or perhaps in them when you practice Yin yoga, is our road map to hear whispers from spaces deep within. Our mind language is words, our body language is feelings. Our soul language is breath. How often do we listen?. We might never, until a life event breaks us open to growth, to listening. Often this is revealed by the body to us. The innate intelligence of the body reveals more than your mind.

‘There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy’ said Freidrich Nietzsche.

The journey to the heart through Kundalini yoga

Kundalini yoga has always been a subtle exploration of heart-centered living. Our yoga series often focus on a subtle opening of the heart chakra to give and receive love.

Love is layered beneath every posture and love is accessed through our breath. How many of us know that Kundalini yoga has been practiced in the monasteries of India, Tibet, and Nepal for thousands of years? Its healing benefits were a secret until yogis came from the East and brought it West in 1969. How much the Western world were ready!
.

What does your heart long for? What does your heart truly desire?

Listen to your heart

However, love is always the goal for practice and life, but in Kundalini yoga we don’t sit around in a dreamy haze. We prepare our body and mind to receive unconditional spiritual love that is not drama-stirred love. We relax into heart and soul wisdom through our nourishing mat practice. Tenderness is the path to the heart, not cruelty. We have moved out of the Piscean age where many of us experienced unconscious living and exploitive suffering. Oh, joy of joys, we have birthed into a new age, the Aquarian Age – right here, right now, a new time for altruism, community, soul consciousness, and the massive energy shift into our once-neglected hearts.

Soul and community, and self-empowerment.

Below you can read about Soul Plans and how they can gently move you forward to a fully-lived life.

What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us, are tiny matters compared to what LIVES within us.

Kundalini yoga helps us feel we belong to others, whilst also having personal
empowerment. The divine is within us not without. We are not limited to being controlled by an authoritative God who lives outside of us. Kundalini yoga offers the lens through which we can view ourselves as infinite, lovable, joyful, and precious beings that have a sure place of participation in this lifetime. We do not need a substance to soothe ourselves to save ourselves with recreational drugs or alcohol and a host of other addictions we seek outside of us. It is all within us, and we can use posture and breath to tap into our hearts. We can also be guided by a soul plan.
